Justice Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDD E

Ah justice is a virtue bepraised and full of worthA
It castigates the sinner and peoples all the earthA
And kings with care should guard it instead they now forgetB
The gem that is most precious in all the coronetB
Some think they may do justice by cruelty I wistC
But 'tis an evil counsel for justice must consistC
In showing deeds of mercy in knowledge of the truthD
And executing judgment it executes with ruthD
