The Legend Glorified Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAAA AABB CDAA EEAA

'I deem that God is not disquieted'A
This in a mighty poet's rhymes I readA
And blazoned so forever doth abideA
Within my soul the legend glorifiedA
-
Though awful tempests thunder overheadA
I deem that God is not disquietedA
The faith that trembles somewhat yet is sureB
Through storm and darkness of a way secureB
-
Bleak winters when the naked spirit hearsC
The break of hearts through stinging sleet of tearsD
I deem that God is not disquietedA
Against all stresses am I clothed and fedA
-
Nay even with fixed eyes and broken breathE
My feet dip down into the tides of deathE
Nor any friend be left nor prayer be saidA
I deem that God is not disquietedA
