Pipes O' Pan At Zekesbury Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBBCDBEDB

The pipes of Pan Not idler now are theyA
Than when their cunning fashioner first blewB
The pith of music from them Yet for youB
And me their notes are blown in many a wayA
Lost in our murmurings for that old dayA
That fared so well without us Waken toB
The pipings here at hand The clear hallooB
Of truant voices and the roundelayB
The waters warble in the solitudeC
Of blooming thickets where the robin's breastD
Sends up such ecstacy o'er dale and dellB
Each tree top answers till in all the woodE
There lingers not one squirrel in his nestD
Whetting his hunger on an empty shellB
