Money and that old mistakeE

Into beat The SettlementG
And the friends 'at we'd make thereH
Would beat any anywhereH
And they do fer that's their bizD
They beat all the friends they isD
'Cept the raal old friends like youI
'At staid at home like I'd ort toI

I ain't shet of is to quitI
Business and git back to sheerJ
These old comforts waitin' hereK
These old friends and these old handsD
'At a feller understandsD
These old winter nights and oldI
Young folks chased in out the coldI

No More and neighbors all jine inL
Here's a feller come from townM
Wants that air old fiddle downM
