Morning, Noon And Night Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCC DDEEFF GGCCHH

When morning shows her first faint flushA
I think of the tender blushA
That crept so gently to your cheekB
When first my love I dared to speakB
How in your glance a dawning rayC
Gave promise of love's perfect dayC
-
When in the ardent breath of noonD
The roses with passion swoonD
There steals upon me from the airE
The scent that lurked within your hairE
I touch your hand I clasp your formF
Again your lips are close and warmF
-
When comes the night with beauteous skiesG
I think of your tear dimmed eyesG
Their mute entreaty that I stayC
Although your lips sent me awayC
And then falls memory's bitter blightH
And dark so dark becomes the nightH
