A Mid-day Dreamer Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABACDED FGHGIJKJ LMNMOPQP RASA

I love to sit alone and dreamA
And dream and dreamA
In fancy's boat to softly glideB
Along some streamA
Where fairy palaces of goldC
And crystal brightD
Stand all along the glistening shoreE
A wondrous sightD
-
My craft is built of ivoryF
With silver oarsG
The sails are spun of golden threadsH
And priceless storesG
Of precious gems adorn its prowI
And 'round its mastJ
An hundred silken cords are setK
To hold it fastJ
-
My galley slaves are sprightly elvesL
Who as they rowM
And as their shining oars they swingN
Them to and froM
Keep time to music wafted onO
The scented airP
Made by the mermaids as they combQ
Their golden hairP
-
And I the while lie idly backR
And dream and dreamA
And let them row me where they willS
Adown the streamA
