Midnight Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFEFGG

And then I wakened up in such a frightA
I thought I heard a movement in the roomB
But did not dare to look I snuggled rightA
Down underneath the bedclothes then the boomB
Of a tremendous voice said 'Sit up ladC
And let me see your face ' So up I satD
Although I didn't want to I was gladC
I did though for it was an angel thatD
Had called me and he said he'd come to knowE
Was I the boy who wouldn't say his prayersF
Nor do his sums and that I'd have to goE
Straight down to hell because of such affairsF
I said I'd be converted and do goodG
If he would let me off he said he wouldG
