Rhyme Scheme: ABACCDDEEBF BAA

Here in a distant place I hold my tongueA
I am O'RahillyB
When I was youngA
Who now am young no moreC
I did not eat things picked up from the shoreC
The periwinkle and the tough dogfishD
At even time have got into my dishD
The great where are they now the great had saidE
This is not seemly bring to him insteadE
That which serves his and serves our dignityB
And that was doneF
-
I am O'RahillyB
Here in a distant place I hold my tongueA
Who once said all his say when he was youngA
