Credo Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGH IJKL MNOP

That each thing is a wordA
Requiring us to speak itB
From the ant to the quasarC
From clouds to ocean floorD
-
The meaning not ours but foundE
In the mind deeply submissiveF
To the grammar of existenceG
The syntax of the realH
-
So that alien is changedI
To human thing into thinkingJ
For the world's bare tokensK
We pay golden coinL
-
Stamped with the king's imageM
And poems are prophecyN
Of a new heaven and earthO
A rumour of resurrectionP
