Corona Inutilis Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCBCB

I TWINED a wreath of heather whiteA
To bind my lady s hairB
And deemed her locks in even lightA
Would well the burden bearB
But when I saw the tresses brownC
And found the face so fairB
I tore the wreath and left the crownC
Of beauty only thereB
