The Ambush Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDDEFGCHIJKFLKKMJF

like royalty on a throne it scans from the tree topA
like a radar it's ears pick up the faint noisesB
like a telescope it's amber eyes spot the preyC
like a falling leaf it climbs down silently from the treeD
like a shadow it moves towards its quarry silentlyD
like a picture it freezes when the prey gets nervousE
like a stealth bomber it is on the move againF
like a sniper it keeps out of sightG
like a guided missile it's eyes are locked on the preyC
like a lightening bolt it strikes furiously but missesH
like a demon after a soul it doesn t give up the huntI
like a foul smell it clings to the prey stalking itJ
like a true fighter it keys up again for another strikeK
like a bad accident it surprises it's quarry againF
like a marks man it is true to it's target this timeL
like a snare it's jaws and claws trap the dik dikK
like a sharp blade it's teeth end the life of the dik dikK
like a ghost it melts in the long grass to feastM
like a spirit all feel its presence but can t see itJ
like a leopard it becomes a shadow just to kill againF
