In Umbria Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEEFGHIJK E

Once upon a time I was sitting outside the cafeA
watching twilight in Umbria when a girl cameB
out of the bakery with the bread her mother wantedC
She did not know what to do Already bewilderedD
by being thirteen and just that summer a womanE
she now had to walk past the AmericanE
But she did fine Went by and around the cornerF
with style not noticing me Almost perfectG
At the last instant could not resist darting a lookH
down at her new breasts Often I go backI
to that dip of her head when people talkJ
about this one or that one of the great beautiesK
