Agony beckons me
Why is it, it loves me so
A child of its bosom im
I look at happiness in the window
It always seems to smile
I like how it is
I call it painfully
Please here let's be friends
But it looks the other way
Scartically
It laughs in my face
As if to scorn, despise and shame
Me
I who loves it when I suckled
I who bred it
Shared it
Yet I receive so much agony
Tears I'm afraid in my heart
My heart is sobbing bitterly
Of the days change would come.
