My mind wanders;
Night seems shallow that renders.
Can't define the meaning
As it has been seeing.
Trying to recall,
The feeling on how to fall;
It is reality that has been brought
Yet I stood and fought.
Tears ran flowing.
Nobody understood what it has been implying.
It was a mix of agony, joy and love,
A happiness that could fly as a dove.
A girl that was chained by loneliness,
Had shown a smile that hid sadness.
Who knows?
No one knows.

Poet's note: This poem is dedicated to my family. I want them to know how hard it is to stand for them. I want them to see how fragile I am inside and feel what I am feeling. I want them to know I have my own dreams too yet I took it for granted and allow their dreams to become my dreams. I want them to know that above all these, let this be their motivation to stand and reach for their dreams. This means a lot to me since this explains my everyday living.
