| I am thrown off balance | B |
| Tears welling up in my eyes | C |
| Tears I cannot hold back with ease | D |

| He said my son this is the route | E |
| Follow this route so you can live | F |
| Here and after Do not die twice | G |
| Yet this route has wholly changed | H |
| - | |
| It now has many branches | I |
| Like tributaries of the River Nile | J |
| These newly attained branches | I |
| I am aware that belong to individuals | K |
| - | |
| The majority now use the branches instead | L |
| The big route is completely out of taste | M |
| It's started getting bushy and narrower | N |
| People despise you when you follow it | O |
| A thing of the past they say it is | P |
| Then you pay highly to follow tributaries | D |
| And become a real man among men | Q |
| All in one single line heading to doom | R |

| The right has become wrong and wrong right | S |
| A route meant to save as I now see | T |
| Will be the undoing of many souls | U |
| Alone though I must follow this route | E |
