First Fruit Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDAE FGHG I

I did not pluck at allA
And I am sorry nowB
The garden is not barredC
But the boughs are heavy with snowD
The flake blossoms thickly fallA
And the hid roots sigh 'How long will our flowers be marred 'E
-
Strange as a bird were dumbF
Strange as a hueless leafG
As one deaf hungers to hearH
Or gazes without beliefG
The fruit yearned 'Fingers come '-
shut hands be empty another yearI
