A Girls Thoughts Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBA CDEC FGGF

Dim apprehension of a trustA
Comes over me this quiet hourB
As though the silence were a flowerB
And this its perfume dark like dustA
-
My individual self would clingC
Through fear through pride unto its fearsD
It strives to shut out what it hearsE
The founts of being murmuringC
-
Need whose hauntings terrorizeF
Whether my maiden ways would hideG
Or lose and to that need subsideG
Life shrinks and instinct dreads surpriseF
