Ego Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAC DEFF GHIH

A week son of the dying generationA
I would not seek the roses of AlpsB
I will not gain the beautiful sensationA
Not from wave s noise nor from young tempests humsC
-
But I would see on fields of scarlet glassD
The brilliant and forever crying highlandsE
The faded flowers in whites of tables vaseF
The ornament that flame of evening foundsF
-
And when my head has sunk in nightly restG
I read dreamed stories lost of any realH
Forgotten words of books burned in forgotten pastI
In hazy sleep I kiss with hot appealH
