So I sat
So I sought beyond thought
So I felt beyond pleasure
So I sank deep beyond mind

So I soar to sow in the limitless void
So I heard the sound of silence
So I sprinkled my mortality with immorality
So I arose in tears and laughed

So I had never lived
So what I carried along was only an accumulation of the past
So the filthy have dominated and I felt it was me
So my stress was the stubborn vibes of my doubts and desires

So I saw them in words written
So they struggled to describe the infinite with the finite words
So I connected the dots
So I downloaded the cosmos

So I went beyond the Sabbath worship
So I went beyond Facebook LIKE and DISLIKE
So I removed my hands from my eyes and saw
So I saw, the unseen so real like the unheard

So know my words for knowledge is power
So power and will to change our nation is in you and me
So it has nothing to do with the political drama or dilemma
So we are the future of the futureless nation

So we are the voice of the dying mother Malawi
So we are not the poverty, HIV/AIDS, the cancer
So we are not the fast dying people of the planet
So we are but a spark of divinity

So we are the breath of God, residing in our chocolate brown skins
So we are not in any case, a charity case or a special curse
So we stand equal in as far as creation is concerned
So ARISE from your deep sleep
So don’t like the poem before you understand it
