Yet her biography reads poorest nation on EarthA
Her leadership is boughtB
Yet her resume reads cursed by land lockingC
Her leadership flies over with her fortuneD

Her reputation tells us she is known for warm heartE
Perhaps it's a mare deep slumberF
She harbors a massive population that reads not this poemG
Yet they elect leaders whom they cannot read their namesH

Her Elite system is filled with doctorates and decorsH
Perhaps what she needs is a people filled with wisdom and commitmentI
Perhaps her labor force that is choked in the Jacuzzi that is social media needs to awake and rise never seize fight until the goal is reachedJ

Her bosom has rottenD
The center can't holdK
The lawmaker leaves among it's people and thrives on their ignoranceH
The officials of her renewal system are drunk with corruptionD
-
Just yesterday she has launched another days of dark historyL
The names of the memes will not be remembered in the years to comeG
For its unborn children are wailingC
-
They will have to be born foolsH
They are certified beggarsH
They will live the curseH
For the land has been sold to Brutes and the minority has settled for the less unfortunately the majority shall follow suitM

Poet's note: I wrote this poem in 2019 as an expression of my frustration when after the 2019 elections when the Malawi Electoral commission literary sold the election to a party that oppressed Malawians.
