DELIGHT OF DAWNA
Ah the delight of dawnA
Over the grassy lawnA
the spark of silk of silkB
spat out by some small spiderC
to be the breeze's pawnA
-
A distant siren whinesD
from the freeway Sun shinesD
What a Sun day what peaceE
An old man's tidy peaceE
his favorite hour of allF
-
The ants march on in rowsG
They're off to do who knowsG
what harm to the ripe pearsH
Such sun now on the wallF
The lizards heed its callF
buttercup xoH
