Vanity Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEF BFAFFGHI JBKLBMNOOP

They were such an heritage to beholdA
The son of our Son's sonsB
The culture we have them was everlasting cogentC
We have them good outfits and languageD
Our 'vernacular' was one of a kindE
We thought we had seen a prosperous and fertile generationF
-
Until our children swayed into the pathway of unrighteousnessB
They left their warm huts to reside in the wilderness of civilizationF
O' what a grief to beholdA
Why would we have to call them a WASTED GENERATIONF
I weep when I think of our generationF
Our heritage is dyingG
Where do we start fromH
Where do we endI
-
The generation of our forefathers had goneJ
Our great grandfathers have done theirsB
When shall we yieldK
In this barbaric state of lifeL
Specks of dust had been blown into their eyesB
But what a mysteryM
It ought to have blinded their sightN
Their brain had been flogged with dopamine for Lust Wealth and fameO
They have forgotten from dust they cameO
Dust they shall return toP
