Taller Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDA AEFAG HIJAA KLMNOP QRKST

Cold motionless and emotionlessA
No command no grin no smileB
Longing for a hug one last timeC
I am wrong the dead don't hugD
But why leave before serving us full of hugsA
-
Emptiness saps loneliness setsA
Why do irreplaceable leaveE
The void is too big to imagine it filledF
Wish we can share heartbeat becauseA
That's not new to us you started itG
-
No more solace in your bosomH
Punishments and scolds full of loveI
Dotting soothing caressing and sweetJ
Not anymore hawk eyes over usA
Who will spoil the rod and spare usA
-
DeathK
Why do you take the foundationL
Aiming the collapse a tumble a fallM
The pillar always your targetN
I've learned to stand strongerO
Taller and unbowedP
-
I've copy pasted momQ
Holding fast values screwed by youR
You'll live in me you'll breathK
You'll get a heartbeat againS

Poet's note: The loss of a mother is a crack on a glass, never mending, never filling. But with the thought of sacrifices she's made, one gets stronger and she relives in you.
