After Hearing the Wagner Story bookA
-
-
The birds came to tell Siegfried a storyB
A story of the woods out of a treeB
How the ring was fairyB
And there were things it could do for himC
Day and nightD
How the river flowed green and wavyB
Under the Rainbow BridgeE
And Brunnhilda slept in a wreath of fireF
Grane watched her standing close besideG
Grane the big white horseH
Dear Grane of her heartI
She dreamed she was far from her fatherF
But Siegfried was comingJ
Siegfried through the big treesK
Up the hillL
Through the fireF
-
II-
-
Siegfried hear usM
Give us back the ringJ
The lady with the shellN
The water lady with the green hairO
Calling cried SiegfriedP
But he laughed to hear herF
Laughed in the sunQ
And went into the woods laughingJ
He was happy in his heartI
And he had golden hairO
Till the sun loved himC
SiegfriedP
I will call himC
SiegfriedP
But he will not hear meB
He could talk to birds and riversR
And he is goneS
