Three Thoughts Of My Heart Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFG HIJCKLM NNOIDP

As I was straying by the forest brookA
I heard my heart speak to meB
Listen said my heartC
I have three thoughts for youD
a thought of cloudsE
A thought of birdsF
A thought of flowersG
-
I sat upon a cushion of mossH
ListeningI
Where the light played and the green shadowsJ
What would you do I asked my heartC
If you were a floating ship of the skyK
If you were a peering birdL
If you were a wild geraniumM
-
And my heart made answerN
That is what I wonder and wonderN
After all it is life I loveO
After all l am a living thingI
After all I am the heart of youD
I am contentP
