Red Rooster Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGCHIJDKLMN

Red rooster in your gray coopA
O stately creature with tail feathers red and blueB
Yellow and blackC
You have a comb gay as a paradeD
On your headE
You have pearl trinketsF
On your feetG
The short feathers smooth along your backC
Are the dark color of wet rocksH
Or the rippled green of shipsI
When I look at their sides through waterJ
I don't know how you happened to be madeD
So proud so foolishK
Wearing your coat of many colorsL
Shouting all day long your crooked wordsM
Loud sharp not beautifulN
