Hills Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKL| The hills are going somewhere | A |
| They have been on the way a long time | B |
| They are like camels in a line | C |
| But they move more slowly | D |
| Sometimes at sunset they carry silks | E |
| But most of the time silver birch trees | F |
| Heavy rocks heavy trees gold leaves | G |
| On heavy branches till they are aching | H |
| Birches like silver bars they can hardly lift | I |
| With grass so thick about their feet to hinder | J |
| They have not gone far | K |
| In the time I've watched them | L |
