Cherries Are Ripe Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHHIJKGLLMNOC

The cherry tree is red nowA
Cherry tree nods his red headB
And calls to the sunC
Let down the birds out of the skyD
Send home the birds to build nests in my armsE
For I am ready to feed themF
There is a little girl coming for cherries tooG
I am that little girl I who am singingH
She is coming with hair flyingH
The butterflies will be going says the cherryI
For it is getting duskJ
When it is dawnK
They will be up and out with the dewG
And sparkle as the dew doesL
On the tips of tall slender green grassesL
Around my feetM
Or on the cheeks of fruit I have ripenedN
Red cherries for birdsO
And childrenC
