Autumn Song Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJEKLEMNOPAE B

I made a ring of leavesA
On the autumn grassB
I was a fairy queen all dayC
Inside the ring the wind wore sandalsD
Not to make a noise of goingE
The caterpillars like little snow menF
Had wound themselves in their winter coatsG
The hands of the trees were bareH
And their fingers flutteredI
I was a queen of yellow leaves and brownJ
And the redness of my fairy ringE
Kept me warmK
For the wind blew nearL
Though he made no noise of goingE
And I hadn't a close made wrapM
Like the caterpillarsN
Even a queen of fairies can be coldO
When summer has forgotten and goneP
Keep me warm red leavesA
Don't let the frost tiptoe into my ringE
On the magic grassB
