Rhyme Scheme: ABCDCEEFGEHEIJKLMINO GPIQRKSE

Now the flowers are all foldedA
And the dark is going byB
The evening is arisingC
It is time to restD
When I am sleepingC
I find my pillow full of dreamsE
They are all new dreamsE
No one told them to meF
Before I came through the cloudG
They remember the sky my little dreamsE
They have wings they are quick they are sweetH
Help me tell my dreamsE
To the other childrenI
So that their bread may taste whiterJ
So that the milk they drinkK
May make them think of meadowsL
In the sky of starsM
Help me give bread to the other childrenI
So that their dreams may come backN
So they will remember what they knewO
Before they came through the cloudG
Let me hold their little hands in the darkP
The lonely childrenI
The babies that have no mothers any moreQ
Dear God let me hold up my silver cupR
For them to drinkK
And tell them the sweetnessS
Of my dreamsE
