[month Of] June Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABABAB ABBABB

Rise up and do begin the day's adorningA
The Summer dark is but the dawn of dayB
The last of sunset fades into the morningA
The morning calls you from the dark awayB
The holy mist the white mist of the morningA
Was wreathing upward on my lonely wayB
The way was waiting for your own adorningA
That should complete the broad adorned dayB
-
Rise up and do begin the day's adorningA
The little eastern clouds are dapple greyB
There will be wind among the leaves to dayB
It is the very promise of the morningA
Lux Tua Via Mea your light's my wayB
Then do rise up and make it perfect dayB
