D The Dreadful Dinotherium heA
Will have to do his best for DA
The early world observed with aweB
His back indented like a sawC
His look was gay his voice was strongD
His tail was neither short nor longD
His trunk or elongated noseE
Was not so large as some supposeE
His teeth as all the world allowsF
Were graminivorous like a cow'sF
He therefore should have wished to passG
Long peaceful nights upon the GrassG
But being mad the brute preferredH
To roost in branches like a birdH
A creature heavier than a whaleI
You see at once could hardly failI
To suffer badly when he slidJ
And tumbled as he always didJ
His fossil therefore comes to lightK
All broken up and serve him rightK
