Rhyme Scheme: ABACDBEE FGGHHH IJIKKKK BKBKKEBEE

Ha ha gods and kings fill high one and allA
Drink drink shout and drink mad respond toB
the callA
Fill fast and fill full 'gainst the goblet ne'erC
sinD
Quaff there at high tide to the uttermostB
rimE
Flood tide and soul tide to the brimE
-
Who with wine in him fears who thinks of hisF
caresG
Who sighs to be wise when wine in him flaresG
Water sinks down below in currents full slowH
But wine mounts on high with its genial glowH
Welling up till the brain overflowH
-
As the spheres with a roll some fiery of soulI
Others golden with music revolve round theJ
poleI
So let our cups radiant with many hued winesK
Round and round in groups circle our Zodiac'sK
SignsK
Round reeling and ringing their chimesK
-
Then drink gods and kings wine merrimentB
bringsK
It bounds through the veins there jubilantB
singsK
Let it ebb then and flow wine never growsK
dimE
Drain down that bright tide at the foam beadedB
rimE
Fill up every cup to the brimE
