To-morrow (from The Spanish Of Lope De Vega) Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACDDCEFGHEG

Lord what am I that with unceasing careA
Thou did'st seek after me that Thou did'st waitB
Wet with unhealthy dews before my gateB
And pass the gloomy nights of winter thereA
Oh strange delusion that I did not greetC
Thy blest approach and oh to heaven how lostD
If my ingratitude's unkindly frostD
Has chilled the bleeding wounds upon Thy feetC
How oft my guardian angel gently criedE
'Soul from thy casement look and thou shalt seeF
How He persists to knock and wait for thee 'G
And oh how often to that Voice of sorrowH
'Tomorrow we will open ' I repliedE
And when the morrow came I answered still 'Tomorrow 'G
