Twilight In The Alps Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBA BBBBBB

I love the hour that comes with dusky hairA
And dewy feet along the Alpine dellsB
To lead the cattle forth A thousand bellsB
Go chiming after her across the fairA
And flowery uplands while the rosy flareA
Of sunset on the snowy mountain dwellsB
And valleys darken and the drowsy spellsB
Of peace are woven through the purple airA
-
Dear is the magic of this hour she seemsB
To walk before the dark by falling rillsB
And lend a sweeter song to hidden streamsB
She opens all the doors of night and fillsB
With moving bells the music of my dreamsB
That wander far among the sleeping hillsB
