A Lover's Envy Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBA CCBBC DDBBD EEBBE

I envy every flower that blowsA
Along the meadow where she goesA
And every bird that sings to herB
And every breeze that brings to herB
The fragrance of the roseA
-
I envy every poet's rhymeC
That moves her heart at eventimeC
And every tree that wears for herB
Its brightest bloom and bears for herB
The fruitage of its primeC
-
I envy every Southern nightD
That paves her path with moonbeams whiteD
And silvers all the leaves for herB
And in their shadow weaves for herB
A dream of dear delightD
-
I envy none whose love requiresE
Of her a gift a task that tiresE
I only long to live to herB
I only ask to give to herB
All that her heart desiresE
