A Home Song Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHEH

I read within a poet's bookA
A word that starred the pageB
Stone walls do not a prison makeC
Nor iron bars a cageB
-
Yes that is true and something moreD
You'll find where'er you roamE
That marble floors and gilded wallsF
Can never make a homeE
-
But every house where Love abidesG
And Friendship is a guestH
Is surely home and home sweet homeE
For there the heart can restH
