Poem - I Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFG FHIJKLMN O PHBQRST

In the dark caverns of the nightA
Loveless and aloneB
Friendless as wind that wails across the plainsC
I sit the last man left on earthD
Putting my fear on paperE
Praying that love will flow from my dry penF
And watching the tears make havoc on my pageG
-
And I remember thenF
Under the night's still maskH
The gallant geeseI
Making their way through stormsJ
The fieldmouse scattering to my doorK
Away from the black cloudL
And the gay snailM
Garnishing the twig before leaves cameN
-
The old ones told meO
'When you grow grey you think on little things '-
Now these dreams kiss the bruises from my mindP
Under the night's still maskH
As loveless and aloneB
I sit till dawn the last man leftQ
Who knows the sound of rain on summer leavesR
The graceful swan breasting the blood red streamS
And heart's incompetenceT
