Love Poem Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGH IJKL

Let us go out in the rain loveA
And keep these memories cleanB
Then stand beneath the sheltering eaveC
To fall in love with the moonD
-
And let us walk in the wood dearE
Walk in the stillness of pinesF
And sigh for the wild birds who cry thereG
All night in their shuddering dreamsH
-
Then back to our waiting house sweetI
Four wars and a sturdy roofJ
Where nothing can ever harm usK
No not even grinning DeathL
