Balade Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCC AABBCC AABBCC

I cannot tell of twain beneath this bondA
Which one in grief the other goes beyondA
Narcissus who to end the pain he boreB
Died of the love that could not help him moreB
Or I that pine because I cannot seeC
The lady who is queen and love to meC
-
Nay for Narcissus in the forest pondA
Seeing his image made entreaty fondA
Beloved comfort on my longing pourB
So for a while he soothed his passion soreB
So cannot I for all too far is sheC
The lady who is queen and love to meC
-
But since that I have Love's true colours donnedA
I in his service will not now despondA
For in extremes Love yet can all restoreB
So till her beauty walks the world no moreB
All day remembered in my hope shall beC
The lady who is queen and love to meC
