Letter Sent To Master Timmy Dwight Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDDDBBEEDDFFFF BBGGAAHHAADD

Master Timmy brisk and airyA
Blythe as Oberon the fairyA
On thy head thy cousin wishesB
Thousand and ten thousand blissesB
Never may thy wicket ballC
In a well or puddle fallC
Or thy wild ambitious kiteD
O'er the elm's thick foliage lightD
When on bended knee thou sittestD
And the mark in fancy hittestD
May thy marble truly traceB
Where thy wishes mark'd the placeB
If at hide and seek you playE
All involved in the hayE
Titt'ring hear the joyful soundD
Timmy never can be foundD
If you hop or if you runF
Or whatever is the funF
Vic'try with her sounding pinionF
Hover o'er her little minionF
But when hunger calls the boysB
From their helter skelter joysB
Bread and cheese in order standingG
For their most rapacious handlingG
Timmy may thy luncheon beA
More than Ben's as five to threeA
But if hasty pudding's dishH
Meet thy vast capacious wishH
Or lob lollys charming jellyA
Court thy cormorantal bellyA
Mortal foe to megre fastD
Be thy spoonful first and lastD
