Dialogue Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BBCCDDEE F GGHIBBBBEEGG

ChildrenA
-
Pray dearest mother if you pleaseB
Cut up your double curded cheeseB
The oldest of the brotherhoodC
It's ripe no doubt and nicely goodC
Your reputation will rise trebleD
As we the lucious morsel nibbleD
Praise will flow from each partakerE
Both on the morsel and the makerE

-
Your suit is vain upon my wordG
You taste not yet my double curdG
I know the hour the very minuteH
In which I'll plunge my cutteau in itI
Am I to learn of witless bairnsB
How I must manage my concernsB
As yet the fervid dog star reignsB
And gloomy Virgo holds the reignsB
Be quiet chicks sedate and soberE
And house your stomachs till OctoberE
Then for a feast Upon my wordG
I'll really cut my double curdG
