Rhyme Scheme: ABACDEFEGHIHJKLK MNONPQRQ FSTSUVWV

You lazy boy you re here at lastA
You must be wooden leggedB
Now are you sure the gate is fastA
And all the sliprails peggedC
And all the milkers at the yardD
The calves all in the penE
We don t want Poley s calf to suckF
His mother dry againE
And did you mend the broken railG
And make it firm and neatH
I s pose you want that brindle steerI
All night among the wheatH
And if he finds the lucerne patchJ
He ll stuff his belly fullK
He ll eat till he gets blown on thatL
And busts like Ryan s bullK
-
Old Spot is lost You ll drive me madM
You will upon my soulN
She might be in the boggy swampsO
Or down a digger s holeN
You needn t talk you never lookedP
You d find her if you d chooseQ
Instead of poking possum logsR
And hunting kangaroosQ
-
How came your boots as wet as muckF
You tried to drown the antsS
Why don t you take your bluchers offT
Good Lord he s tore his pantsS
Your father s coming home to nightU
You ll catch it hot you ll seeV
Now go and wash your filthy faceW
And come and get your teaV
