To Hannah Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDEDE FGFGFHFH FIFIFFFF

Spirit girl to whom 'twas givenA
To revisit scenes of painB
From the hell I thought was HeavenA
You have lifted me againC
Through the world that I inheritD
Where I loved her ere she diedE
I am walking with the spiritD
Of a dead girl by my sideE
-
Through my old possessions onlyF
For a very little whileG
And they say that I am lonelyF
And they pity but I smileG
For the brighter side has won meF
By the calmness that it bringsH
And the peace that is upon meF
Does not come of earthly thingsH
-
Spirit girl the good is in meF
But the flesh you know is weakI
And with no pure soul to win meF
I might miss the path I seekI
Lead me by the love you bore meF
When you trod the earth with meF
Till the light is clear before meF
And my spirit too is freeF
