The Little Slit In The Tail Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDED FGHGIDJDED

I M GLAD that the Bushmen can t see me nowA
A doing it tall in the townB
I ve an inch brimmed hat on my sun burnt browA
And my collar jumps up and downB
I m wearing a vest that would charm a snakeC
And a tie like a lost soul s wailD
And I m dressed in a coat of the latest makeC
With a little slit in the tailD
With a little slit in the tail of itE
With a little slit in the tailD
-
My pants alone are a thing of joyF
And they re built to show my bendsG
With a crease behind and a crease beforeH
And a little curl in the endsG
I carry my nose rag in my cuffI
And the lot should get me gaolD
I paid five guineas for my rig outJ
And one for the slit in the tailD
For the little slit in the tail of itE
For the little slit in the tailD
