Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EEEE CCCF GHGH

ONE MAN ONE VOTE You hear the people shoutingA
The walls of Mammon tremble ere they fallB
ONE MAN ONE VOTE Is this a time for doubtingA
The poets have been prophets after allB
-
ONE MAN ONE VOTE The cry is growing strongerC
ONE MAN ONE VOTE It echoes o'er the waveD
ONE MAN ONE VOTE The Wealthy dead no longerC
Shall rule us through their children from the graveD
-
ONE MAN ONE VOTE The knell of RetrogressionE
The greatest triumph of the tongue and penE
ONE MAN ONE VOTE The right of long possessionE
Is right no longer in the minds of menE
-
ONE MAN ONE VOTE There's lightning in the thunderC
ONE MAN ONE VOTE The reign of Greed is o'erC
ONE MAN ONE VOTE The cursed Vote of PlunderC
Shall rule the plundered slaves of earth no moreF
-
ONE MAN ONE VOTE We're waking from our slumbersG
ONE MAN ONE VOTE To rule the fields we farmedH
If thus we triumph with diminished numbersG
What will the triumph be when all are armedH
