Freedom On The Wallaby Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAABBACA DEFEGHIH FJCJKCLC MLNBGOGO BOBOBPQP

Australia's a big countryA
An' Freedom's humping blueyA
An' Freedom's on the wallabyA
Oh don't you hear 'er cooeyB
She's just begun to boomerangB
She'll knock the tyrants sillyA
She's goin' to light another fireC
And boil another billyA
-
Our fathers toiled for bitter breadD
While loafers thrived beside 'emE
But food to eat and clothes to wearF
Their native land denied 'emE
An' so they left their native landG
In spite of their devotionH
An' so they came or if they stoleI
Were sent across the oceanH
-
Then Freedom couldn't stand the glareF
O' Royalty's regaliaJ
She left the loafers where they wereC
An' came out to AustraliaJ
But now across the mighty mainK
The chains have come ter bind herC
She little thought to see againL
The wrongs she left behind herC
-
Our parents toil'd to make a homeM
Hard grubbin 'twas an' clearin'L
They wasn't crowded much with lordsN
When they was pioneeringB
But now that we have made the landG
A garden full of promiseO
Old Greed must crook 'is dirty handG
And come ter take it from usO
-
So we must fly a rebel flagB
As others did before usO
And we must sing a rebel songB
And join in rebel chorusO
We'll make the tyrants feel the stingB
O' those that they would throttleP
They needn't say the fault is oursQ
If blood should stain the wattleP
