Moonlight peoples Boyd TowerD
Mystic are its wallsF
Lightly dance the loversG
In its haunted hallsF

Ben Boyd s Tower is watchingA
Watching o er the foamH
Ben Boyd s Tower is waitingA
Till the Wanderer comes homeH
-
O he lay above usI
High above the surfJ
Finger nails and toe capsK
Digging in the turfJ
-
We do not know the dayC
We do not know the hourD

-
There s an ancient dame in EdenM
Basket on her armN
And she goes down the Main StreetE
From the old old farmN
-
Hood drawn on her foreheadO
Withered dame and greyC
She never looks on Boyd TowerD
Out across the BayC
-
Bright eyes in the ballroomP
Coquetting with twoQ
Just for love of mischiefR
As a girl will doQ
A quarrel in the bar roomP
All within the hourD
And four men rode from Boyd TownS
To Ben Boyd s TowerD
