Sonnet (when I Sit Musing On The Chequer'd Past) Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACDDCCEFGHC

When I sit musing on the chequer'd pastA
A term much darken'd with untimely woesB
My thoughts revert to her for whom still flowsB
The tear though half disown'd and binding fastA
Pride's stubborn cheat to my too yielding heartC
I say to her she robb'd me of my restD
When that was all my wealth 'Tis true my breastD
Received from her this wearying lingering smartC
Yet ah I cannot bid her form departC
Though wrong'd I love her yet in anger loveE
For she was most unworthy Then I proveF
Vindictive joy and on my stern front gleamsG
Throned in dark clouds inflexibleH
The native pride of my much injured heartC
