Sonnet (sweet To The Gay Of Heart Is Summer's Smile) Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABBCBCDDCEEC

Sweet to the gay of heart is Summer's smileA
Sweet the wild music of the laughing SpringB
But ah my soul far other scenes beguileA
Where gloomy storms their sullen shadows flingB
Is it for me to strike the Idalian stringB
Raise the soft music of the warbling wireC
While in my ears the howls of furies ringB
And melancholy waste the vital fireC
Away with thoughts like these To some lone caveD
Where howls the shrill blast and where sweeps the waveD
Direct my steps there in the lonely drearC
I'll sit remote from worldly noise and museE
Till through my soul shall Peace her balm infuseE
And whisper sounds of comfort in mine earC
